On this blog, I talk about myself... a LOT. I wanted to show some support for someone who inspires me: Rachel.
I know Rachel through school and we have worked on projects together. She is awesome. Rachel demonstrates a perfect balance between sweat/sweet, brains/beauty, and bicycle/evening-gown. That is all the I stand for here at Velo et Velour.

"To raise awareness for both incredible organizations, I am embarking on a 150-mile bike ride from Corvallis to Seaside, OR and will go directly into competition for the title of Miss Oregon. I'm excited to do this because it not only allows me to represent Corvallis for the bike friendly community that it is, but this bike ride also exemplifies that the women who compete in the Miss America Organization are tenacious, strong, and active in their communities."
